[WFRP 1e] The Enemy Within 31

We spent some time burying the body we had found. I think we’re going to end up doing that a lot with this priest of Morr in the party now.

Along the road through the Drakwald we met some dwarfs who told us of the woes of Middenheim’s taxes. I tried to get them to go with us if we were to cover their taxes. I thought it might be an easy way to make connections in a new town. The dwarves stubbornly refused.

Dr Malthusius’ Zoocopia carnival found us along the road. Talk about random. We followed the carnival to the town of Arnesdorf. That town had some kind of superstition about a talking fish, so we went fishing and killed a fish with the same description. It’s kind of what we do.

Dr Malthusius was going to Regensdorf, but we wanted none of that. We parted ways. He headed west, and we continued north.

Two sketchy guys had been following us for quite a while. We took this opportunity, alone in the forest, to call them out, chase them down, and get them to talk. We found out more information about The Purple Hand (which I luckily no longer had…did I mention the priest cured me of that?). We also found out about the rival group, The Red Crown. They are both terrorist groups of Tzeentch.

Wilhelm made an ingenious plan to take over the house of Lieberung and the cult of the Purple Hand. At least, it sounded good for the solitude of a trail through some dark woods. We’ll see how well it works when we get to a bustling metropolis.

In Delberz we stamped our unstamped wine so we could officially sell it. These skills we’ve honed over the months are coming in very handy.

We also heard an announcement that “Regensdorf is gone! Burned! The whole thing!”
